Slick City Action Park to open in Goodyear

Posted

Slick City Action Park, an indoor entertainment chain known for its dry slides and interactive play zones, will open new location in Goodyear this October.

The nearly 45,000-square-foot park is taking over a former Conn’s HomePlus building at 15305 W. McDowell Road. It will feature multiple dry slides, a Sport Air Court, and a Junior Jungle area designed for children five and under. The Goodyear location will also include food and beverage options such as pizza, nachos, and ICEEs, along with beer and wine service.

Franchise owner Wade Stooks said the Goodyear park is part of a broader $12 million expansion of the Slick City brand in Arizona, which includes six locations statewide and a seventh planned in Tucson by early 2026.

“The new locations will offer an exciting new entertainment option for families and groups across the Valley, while also revitalizing commercial spaces that were underutilized,” Stooks stated.

Like other Slick City parks, the Goodyear facility is designed to repurpose existing retail or industrial spaces. The company says it expects to employ 450 people across Arizona by the end of the year, with jobs geared toward first-time workers.

The Goodyear park will also feature glow-in-the-dark murals by artist Jody Barrilleaux.
