Arizona Events Manager
Overall Objective: Plan, manage and increase the number of community digital and in-person events for the INI Arizona group that will serve our communities better and develop significant new revenue and profits for the company.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Developing specific themes and potential dates for meaningful community events throughout the region. This should involve consulting with current editors, ad staff, ad director and publisher as well as outside resources, including potential key sponsors.
- Outlining a promotional planner and estimated budget for each event discussed with the ad director and then submitted for final approval to the publisher. These should be completed no less than six to nine months ahead of the actual timing of the event to allow plenty of time for securing the necessary commitments from the venues, major sponsors, participating vendors, ticket sales and promotion.
- Identifying the key target clients and selling the major sponsorships for each event, while also helping to coach local sales staffs in selling the participating vendors.
- Securing venues, planning ideal setup, overall schedule, promotional materials and prizes, etc. Developing a time line for each event and overseeing the progress as they are completed.
- Supervising and coordinating staffing as needed for each event for maximum success and customer service.
