Performances begin at 5 p.m. both days at 1971 N. Globe Drive. Admission is free and open to the public.
The competition features performers ages 12 to 25 competing for cash prizes and a chance to open for Cooper at his annual Christmas Pudding fundraising concert Dec. 12 at Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. Two winning acts will earn opening slots.
The finals are scheduled for 5 p.m. Nov. 21 at Paradise Valley Community College’s Center for the Performing Arts in Phoenix.
The December concert benefits Solid Rock Teen Centers, a nonprofit founded by Cooper and his wife, Sheryl. The organization offers free arts, dance, music and vocational programs for teens ages 12 to 20 at centers in Goodyear, Phoenix and Mesa.
