Highland Prep West in Avondale has announced the induction of students into its Leo Club, a youth service organization affiliated with Lions Clubs International.
The club gives students opportunities to participate in volunteer work and community outreach while developing leadership skills. Members will work together on service projects benefiting the community.
“At Highland Prep West, we want our students to understand that leadership is about more than personal achievement; it’s about the impact we make on others,” Principal Sharon Pozzi stated in a press release.
