The city of Litchfield Park is going to pay the city of Avondale for work done on its police vehicles.
Avondale currently provides law enforcement services to Litchfield Park, but an amendment to the deal would have Avondale also picking up fleet preventative maintenance at a cost of $158.32 per hour, not to exceed a total of $20,000 in fiscal year 2027.
Under the deal, any expense over $1,500 would require staff approval from Litchfield Park.
Litchfield Park contracts with Avondale Police to provide services to the community using branded Litchfield Park vehicles that the city purchases for patrols.
