Goodyear community to hold annual holiday parade

PebbleCreek, a 55-plus community in Goodyear, will hold its 22nd annual holiday golf cart parade with more than 130 residents expected to participate.

The parade is scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 16 beginning at 1:30 p.m., with lineup at 12:15 p.m. at the Armed Forces Plaza. The route will run for about an hour through the Eagle’s Nest and Tuscany Falls neighborhoods and end at the community softball field.

Food, refreshments, caroling and prizes for selected cart displays will be available at the ball field after the parade. Residents who are not participating may watch from their driveways or gather along the route. The event will take place regardless of weather, and no alternate date is planned.

Community organizers say the parade has grown over more than two decades as a recurring seasonal event.
