Catitude Arts will offer two new February art classes at the Loma Linda Community Center, giving residents an opportunity to explore figure drawing and faux stained glass through hands-on instruction in partnership with Goodyear Arts & Culture.
The nonprofit will host a two-week Live Figure Drawing class on Tuesdays, Feb. 3 and Feb. 10, 2026, from 10 a.m. to noon. The class introduces participants to drawing the human form, beginning with basic structure, proportions and shape breakdowns before progressing to drawing a fully clothed live model during the second session. A $10 materials fee is required.
Later in the month, Catitude Arts will offer a Faux Stained Glass class on Tuesdays, Feb. 17 and Feb. 24, from 10 a.m. to noon. Participants will learn how to recreate the look of traditional stained glass using clear panels and paint, without the need for glass cutting or soldering. The class carries a $15 materials fee, and enrollment is limited.
Both classes will be held in the LLP Community Room at the Loma Linda Community Center, 420 E. Loma Linda Blvd. Registration is free for Goodyear residents, while non-residents pay a $10 enrollment fee through Goodyear Arts & Culture. Materials fees are paid directly to Catitude Arts on the first day of class.
Catitude Arts, founded in 2010 by local artist Bonnie Lewis, is a nonprofit dedicated to making art accessible to people of all ages. The organization provides programs for youth, adults and seniors, including portfolio development, foundational art instruction and a mural mentorship program for young artists.
