Arizona Fall League comes to Goodyear Ballpark

Posted

The Arizona Fall League  continues its season with a matchup between the Peoria Javelinas and the Surprise Saguaros on Thursday, Oct. 24, at Goodyear Ballpark.

The game is scheduled to start at 6:30 PM, with doors opening at 5:30 PM.

Goodyear Ballpark serves as the home for the Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds during spring training and features a seating capacity of over 10,000. The facility hosts various community events and baseball leagues outside of the preseason games.

Tickets for the AFL game are priced at $13 for adults, $11 for seniors and teens aged 11-17, and free for children 10 and under.

The AFL allows each Major League Baseball team to send seven top prospects to participate, with six teams in total: Peoria Javelinas, Surprise Saguaros, Scottsdale Scorpions, Mesa Solar Sox, Salt River Rafters, and Glendale Desert Dogs.

Established over 30 years ago, the AFL provides a platform for player development, enabling young players, coaches, and umpires to gain experience in a competitive environment.
