The Sun City Softball Club summer session with neighboring Sun City West Softball Club has come to an end. While the Sun City field is closed for a month of maintenance, softball will continue with open practices at Bicentennial Park Softball Field, also known as “The Pit,” 16705 N. Nash St., Surprise.
The group is practicing 7:30–9:30 a.m. Oct. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20 and 22
The club is also hosting a welcome back event beginning 8:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. The day will feature softball games and a community meal.
8:30 a.m.: Co-ed softball games begin.
11:30 a.m.: Club lunch begins.
1 p.m.: RCSC board of directors and management vs. Sun City players.
