Sun City Elks honor missing veterans

The Sun City Elks Lodge #2559 recently held its annual Prisoner of War/Missing in Action service to welcome, honor and express gratitude to the veterans from MANA House for their service and sacrifices.

Upon arrival, the veterans were welcomed by a receiving line that included the Lodge Elk Riders, lodge officers, lodge veteran’s service committee along with numerous Elk members and guests. A meal was served, and the band Surefire provided lively entertainment that kept the dance floor bustling.

The Moon Valley NJROTC Color Guard students presented the colors, and the lodge officers explained the significance of each item on the missing man table, emphasizing the importance of always remembering.
