The Recreation Centers of Sun City recently installed 12 new marquee signs at the various rec centers in the community.
By recommendation to the RCSC board of directors from the Outreach and Communication Committee, each facility, with the exception of Mountain View due to the upcoming renovation, received the new signage.
The marquees were over ten years old and, according to RCSC Vice President Chris Nettesheim, were in dire need of replacement. The original budget for the new signs was $827,000, according to Nettesheim, though the final cost was “well under the approved budget amount.”
