Leslie Schmalzried, the Condominium Owners Association of Sun City acting president, always worked in public service. Whether it was for internal revenue services, state government or with a nonprofit, she loved giving back.
When she and her husband moved to Sun City, they wanted to buy a condo. Schmalzried noticed her association board was struggling so she did what she loves doing: helping others.
“Because of my executive management, it was easy for me to see that,” Schmalzried said. “We wanted some things done at the condo association so both Steve and I stepped up with a few other people.”
