Yates Mitsubishi to open Goodyear dealership with charity test-drive campaign

Yates Mitsubishi will mark the opening of its new dealership in Goodyear with a series of public events in May, including a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a community fundraiser tied to test drives.

The dealership, located at 13725 W. Test Drive, is scheduled to host an official grand opening ceremony May 6 at 9 a.m. City officials and company representatives are expected to attend alongside dealer principal Whitney Yates-Woods.

A larger public event is planned for May 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., featuring activities, entertainment and giveaways for attendees.

As part of the opening, the dealership said it will donate $20 for each test drive conducted May 9–10 through its “Test Drive for a Cause” campaign. Proceeds are set to benefit the West Valley Mavericks Foundation, which supports several regional nonprofit organizations, including A New Leaf, Agua Fria Food & Clothing Bank, Phoenix Children’s Hospital and others.

Event organizers said activities may include food vendors, children’s entertainment and prize drawings. Additional programming is expected to include live entertainment and media participation.

The opening marks the company’s expansion into the West Valley. The dealership will offer new and used vehicle sales, financing, maintenance and parts services.
