Wildlife World Zoo, Aquarium & Safari Park will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday and Sunday, April 19 and 20. The event is included with regular zoo admission or membership.
Egg hunts are scheduled by age group, with children 6 and under participating at 1:30 p.m. and those 12 and under at 3:30 p.m. both days. The hunts will take place in the playground area of the zoo. Children are encouraged to bring their own baskets.
In addition to traditional eggs filled with treats and prizes, one large ostrich egg will be hidden during each hunt. The child who finds it will receive a special prize.
Families who return their plastic eggs after the event will receive one free child ticket for a future visit.
Face painting will be available in the playground area from 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for $6. Free photos with the Easter Bunny will be offered after each egg hunt.
The zoo will also offer photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny and a sea lion at Shipwreck Cove for $40 per group. These sessions will be available after the sea lion shows at 11:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
The Wildlife World Zoo is located at 16501 W. Northern Avenue in Litchfield Park. The facility includes exhibits featuring cheetahs, mountain lions, aquatic life, reptiles, and other animals from across the Americas.
