Wigwam Golf offers lady golfers discounts in September

Wigwam Golf will mark September with a new Sunday Ladies Day program, offering discounts to women and free play for youth as part of a push to make the sport more accessible.

“Sunday Ladies Days are about celebrating women in the sport, whether you’re a seasoned player or new to the game,” said Tyler Morse, head golf professional and director of operations at Wigwam Golf. “With women, especially younger players, being the fastest-growing demographic in the sport, we’re excited to support their game with special offers that make it easier and more fun to get out on the course.”

Wigwam Golf states it has been a regional draw for traveling golfers as well as local players since it opened in 1965, and its leadership said the Sunday initiative is meant to highlight both tradition and growth in the sport.

Every Sunday in September, women will receive 30% off green fees after 11 a.m.using the online promo code “SUNDAYLADIES.”

The pro shop will also offer 20% off women’s apparel.

The initiative also extends to young players. Youth golfers can play free with a paying adult after 11 a.m. on Sundays in September. The offer applies to one youth per adult and must be mentioned at check-in.
