West Valley rehab center hosts a career fair

Abrazo West Campus will host a hiring event for its new inpatient rehabilitation facility, offering on-site interviews and an opportunity for job seekers to meet hospital leaders.

The event is scheduled for Wednesday, Dec. 17 4 to 6 p.m. at the Abrazo West inpatient rehab facility, 1355 N. Litchfield Road in Goodyear. Applicants are encouraged to bring copies of their résumés and dress professionally. 

Hospital officials said they are seeking therapists, registered nurses and allied health professionals as the rehabilitation unit expands services launched earlier this year. Open positions include physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, inpatient rehabilitation RNs for day and night shifts, and nursing leadership roles such as charge nurses.

The rehab hospital provides care for patients recovering from traumatic injuries, cardiovascular surgery and stroke. Its services include advanced spine care, physical and occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology. The rehabilitation center occupies the second floor of the newly opened building.

Organizers said the event will give attendees a chance to learn about Abrazo’s culture, meet members of the clinical team and explore career opportunities. Complimentary snacks and beverages will be available.
