West Valley Mavericks host a charity concert at State Farm Stadium

Posted

The West Valley Mavericks Foundation will hold its 2026 Shindig on Saturday, March 7, at the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium, raising money for Phoenix Children’s Hospital and other West Valley charities.

The country-themed fundraiser runs from 6 to 10 p.m. and will feature a live performance by country artist Niko Moon, along with food, drinks and reserved seating areas known as “corrals.” Organizers expect more than 1,000 attendees.

Moon is best known for his triple-platinum hit “Good Time” and has  written songs for artists including the Zac Brown Band, Morgan Wallen and Rascal Flatts. He founded the Happy Cowboy Foundation to support mental health and addiction recovery initiatives, drawing on his own experiences, and is currently touring in support of his latest music.

Based in Litchfield Park, the West Valley Mavericks is a nonprofit organization founded in 2012 to support children and families in need through charitable events and community fundraising like the Shindig.

Tickets are on sale for the event, which will be held at 9591 W. Sportsman Park North in Glendale.
