Valentine’s market to feature local vendors at EMCC

Posted

The Desert West Market will host a Valentine’s Day-themed market Feb. 14 at Estrella Mountain Community College, offering shoppers an opportunity to support local businesses while celebrating the holiday.

The market will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the EMCC campus at 3000 N. Dysart Road and will feature more than 150 local vendors selling handcrafted goods, gifts and specialty items. Organizers say the event is designed to highlight local shopping while providing a festive atmosphere for the community.

In addition to vendor booths, the market will include a floral bar, live music, a photo booth, lawn games, permanent jewelry and multiple food trucks. The event is open to the public, though pets are not permitted as the campus is pet-free.

The Desert West Market is held every Saturday from October through April at EMCC. Vendors participating in the market are charged a fee equal to 10% of their sales. Those interested in becoming vendors can apply online.

The Valentine’s Day Market is expected to draw students, residents and visitors looking for unique gifts and local products while enjoying a community-centered event.
