The Plain White T’s will headline this year’s Goodyear Lakeside Music Festival, city officials announced.
The annual event will take place March 21 from 3:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Estrella Lakeside Amphitheater and is free and open to the public.
The Chicago-based pop rock band is best known for its 2006 hit “Hey There Delilah,” which topped the Billboard Hot 100 and earned two Grammy nominations. Formed in 1997, the group has released multiple albums, including a self-titled record in 2023.
Additional performers for the 2026 festival have not yet been announced.
Organizers say the event will feature live music throughout the afternoon and evening, along with an artisan vendor market, local food trucks, lawn games and a children’s zone. A beer garden sponsored by Saddle Mountain Brewing Company also will be available.
The festival has become a recurring spring event for the city, drawing visitors from across the valley.
In 2025, the Lakeside Music Festival drew hundreds of attendees for a lineup headlined by Arizona native and “American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks, along with performances by local and regional acts across genres including jazz, mariachi and rock.
Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizillo said the event is made possible through collaboration among city staff and community partners.
“This doesn't happen without a lot of people working together to put this on,” Pizillo said at last year’s festival, encouraging attendees to thank the arts and culture commission, city volunteers and the parks and recreation department. “We're able, as a result of these great partnerships and team and all your support out there, to put on these events for free, which is great.”
City officials have said the festival is part of Goodyear’s ongoing arts and culture programming aimed at bringing residents and visitors together.
