The new commercial building, 13540 W. Van Buren St., sells agricultural supplies, livestock feed, hardware and lawn care equipment aimed at homeowners, gardeners and ranchers.
The June 20 opening featured participation from local youth agriculture groups and neighborhood businesses. Student members of the Desert Edge FFA chapter and representatives from the Grace 4-H Club were on-site to provide information about their local agricultural and youth development programs.
With the addition of the Goodyear site, the Tennessee-based corporation now operates more than 2,400 locations across 49 states.
