Sept. 3 is last day for free storm-debris disposal in Litchfield Park

Residents can drop off storm-related debris and bulk items near City Hall

Posted

Still cleaning up after the recent storms? Sept. 3 is the last day Litchfield Park residents can use the city’s free storm-debris disposal option.

Two roll-off containers are available in the empty lot next to City Hall, 214 W. Wigwam Blvd., for storm-related debris and bulk items. The city said the containers should not be used for regular household trash or routine dumping.

After Sept. 3, residents can schedule bulk item collection on the Waste Management website.

Residents also receive two yearly dumps of up to three large items at the WM White Tank Transfer Station, 18605 W. McDowell Road, in Goodyear.

Code enforcement for bulk trash items left out after Waste Management’s September collection will resume Oct. 5.
