The YMCA Silver Fins Dive Team of Goodyear won the men’s team national championship at the 2026 YMCA National Diving Championships, held April 9–11 in Orlando, Florida.
The event, hosted by the YMCA at the Rosen Aquatic Center, brought together youth divers from across the United States to compete in a national-level developmental meet.
The Silver Fins, sponsored by the Southwest Valley YMCA, train year-round in Goodyear, with athletes practicing several days a week.
Team members recorded multiple top finishes. Zeke Raybourn, 17, placed on the podium in all of his events and qualified for the USA Diving National Championships. Haskell Fagan, 11, won gold medals in the three-meter and platform events, while Levi Berlyn, 12, earned gold in the one-meter, silver in the three-meter and bronze on the platform, also qualifying for USA Nationals.
Tanner Lange, 16, medaled in both the one-meter and three-meter events and is scheduled to compete at the American Cup, where he will seek qualification for the High Dive World Cup in May.
“The dedication these athletes bring to training every day is what makes results like this possible,” said head coach Bill Hunter. “Winning a national title is a tremendous accomplishment, but even more rewarding is seeing their growth, discipline, and commitment to the sport.”
The program also highlighted recent alumni success, including Carter Kov, who competes for the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and placed fifth at the NCAA National Championships.
