Mission BBQ to Host Pre-Opening Fundraisers Ahead of Goodyear Opening

Mission BBQ will host a series of pre-opening events at its new Goodyear location ahead of its official opening.

The restaurant, located at 15333 West McDowell Road, is scheduled to open to the public at noon on Feb. 3. 

Prior to the opening, Mission BBQ will hold a soft opening fundraiser benefiting Concerns of Police Survivors, a national nonprofit that supports families and co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty. The event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 29, with all proceeds benefiting the organization.

They will also host a Military Appreciation Night from 6 to 9 p.m. on Jan. 30, with proceeds benefiting Wreaths Across America.

Mission BBQ was founded by two friends who say they were inspired by a shared passion for barbecue and a desire to run a business centered on purpose. The restaurant’s dining rooms are decorated with memorabilia and tributes to veterans and first responders, many of which have been donated by service members and their families.
