Bubba’s 33 restaurants in Goodyear, Peoria and Tempe will host fundraisers Wednesday, June 18, with 100% of dine-in and to-go profits from that day going to the American Eagle Foundation.
The event, held in honor of the restaurant’s eagle mascot, Ace, will benefit the foundation’s conservation, education and rehabilitation programs for birds of prey, with a focus on the bald eagle.
The American Eagle Foundation, established in 1985 and based in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, is a nonprofit organization focused on the protection of bald eagles and other raptors.
“We couldn't be more thrilled to partner with an iconic brand like Bubba's 33,” said American Eagle Foundation CEO Jessica Hall. “This partnership allows us to further our mission in an engaging and authentic way."
In 2023, the foundation opened a 48-acre headquarters in Kodak, Tennessee, near the Great Smoky Mountains. Known as Project Eagle, the facility features aviaries, a museum and an educational campus. Future plans include an avian research and rehabilitation center.
“The Bubba’s 33 partnership is driven by our passion to secure the future for the Bald Eagle population,” said Bubba’s 33 Managing Partner Jon Butrym. “American Eagle Foundation's mission is based on the conservation of bald eagles and other birds of prey through educational outreach and rehabilitation initiatives. We're honored to partner with this incredible organization.”
The fundraiser will take place at all three Valley locations and is open to the public.
