Goodyear library hosts adult book club

Posted

The Georgia T. Lord Library will host its Adult Fiction Book Club on Monday, Jan. 27, from 1 to 2 p.m. The meeting will take place in the library's Programming Room at 1900 N. Civic Square.

The group will discuss “Inheritance" by Nora Roberts, the first book in The Lost Bride trilogy. The novel blends romance, mystery, and paranormal elements, following graphic designer Sonya MacTavish as she inherits a house, a portrait of a woman named Astrid, and a centuries-old curse that she must solve.

Roberts, an author known for her romantic fiction, romantic suspense, and paranormal novels, has written over 230 books and has received several literary awards.

Copies of “Inheritance" will be available for checkout at the Georgia T. Lord Library at the first-floor front desk while supplies last. Maricopa County Library cardholders can also access the book digitally through Libby.

The book club meets on the fourth Monday of each month. New members are welcome.
