Abrazo West Campus announced Sept. 2 that it received DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center certification, the highest designation for stroke care.

The Abrazo West Campus hospital in Goodyear announced Sept. 2 that it received certification as a DNV Comprehensive Stroke Center, the highest designation for stroke care.

The certification is awarded to hospitals equipped to diagnose and treat severe and complex strokes. Abrazo West is the only DNV-certified Comprehensive Stroke Center in Arizona west of Interstate 17.
