The Goodyear Fire Department will host its annual EMS Open House on Saturday, May 16, at Fire Station 183.
The event is scheduled from 9 a.m. to noon at the station, located at 3075 N. Litchfield Road. Activities will include opportunities for attendees to meet emergency medical personnel, view fire department vehicles and equipment, and receive safety information. The event is free and open to the public.
A blood drive will also take place during the event in partnership with Vitalant. The Vitalant Bloodmobile will be on site from 8 a.m. to noon for those interested in donating blood.
Officials encourage community members to participate in both the open house and blood drive, noting the importance of public engagement and blood donations in supporting emergency medical services.
