Councilmember to lead business finance talk

Brannon Hampton, Goodyear councilmember and Edward Jones financial advisor, will headline the upcoming Business Leaders Series on Wednesday, Oct. 15, with a session on financial literacy for professionals and business owners.

Hosted by the West Valley Regional Chamber, the event will take place at 9 a.m. at the Chamber Office, 289 N. Litchfield Road.

Hampton brings more than two decades of business and financial experience to the conversation. As a financial advisor, he helps clients plan for retirement and build long-term financial strategies. He previously worked at the Palo Verde Generating Station in roles focused on performance improvement and project management.

An MBA graduate from Grand Canyon University, Hampton also holds a bachelor’s in business administration and several professional certifications. In addition to his financial career, he has served on the Goodyear City Council since 2017, with a focus on economic development.
