A community festival celebrating local firefighters is set to take over Goodyear Ballpark on Saturday, Nov. 22, bringing craft beer, family activities and high-energy firehouse competitions to raise money for the Arizona Firefighter’s Foundation.
The Brews with the Bravest Festival, hosted by PS, I Love AZ and Saddle Mountain Brewing Company, will run from 2 to 8 p.m. in Lot 4 of the ballpark at, 1933 S Ballpark Way. Tickets are $12.51, with all proceeds benefiting the foundation, a nonprofit that provides financial assistance, crisis support and wellness resources to Arizona firefighters and their families.
Festivalgoers can expect all-day live music, a lineup of food trucks, a local shopping village and the Saddle Mountain Brewing Company beer garden. Families will have access to a dedicated kids zone, and attendees can participate in a 50/50 raffle.
Firefighters from across the state will compete in several events, including a Best Firefighter ’Stache Showdown, a single-elimination tug-of-war tournament with a $1,000 prize for the winning station, and a pull-up challenge open to departments seeking bragging rights. Teams can register through the festival’s online sign-up link.
Saddle Mountain Brewing Company will also debut its Thirst Responder American Lager in cans, with a portion of every sale benefiting the Arizona Firefighter’s Foundation.
Organizers say the event aims to honor the state’s bravest while bringing the community together for a day of entertainment and philanthropy.
More information and tickets are available through Eventbrite.
