Abrazo Medical Group has opened a new clinic in Buckeye, expanding access to specialty care for residents in the growing West Valley area.
The 21,000-square-foot Verrado clinic occupies the entire third floor of the recently opened Abrazo Medical Office Building on Roosevelt Street. The three-story, 60,000-square-foot facility began operations in June.
“This is a great opportunity for our people to be able to get to a doctor and doctor’s services without having to drive miles into town. We all have the opportunity now to come right here where we live for all our medical needs,” said Buckeye Vice Mayor Craig Heustis during a ribbon cutting ceremony held Sept. 24.
The clinic brings together several medical specialties under one roof, including cardiology, orthopedics and sports medicine, and neurology.
Cardiovascular services are provided through Biltmore Cardiology, orthopedic and sports medicine care is available from Arizona Sports Medicine Center, and neurological treatment is offered by Abrazo Brain & Spine.
According to Abrazo Medical Group, consolidating these specialties into a single location is intended to improve access and streamline care for patients.
“As we celebrate this milestone, we start our next goal of continuing to grow our medical group and services here. We are not done yet. We’re going to continue to develop and build and ensure that as this community grows, that our place in this community continues to grow alongside you,” said Anthony Quan, CEO of Abrazo Medical Group.
The clinic aims to serve the healthcare needs of the expanding population in Buckeye and the surrounding West Valley communities.
