West Valley cities provide growth updates at chamber event

Posted

The West Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce hosted its annual City-to-City Update on April 3 at the Goodyear Recreation Campus, where representatives from six cities shared updates on development and economic activity.

Officials from Goodyear, Avondale, Litchfield Park, Tolleson, El Mirage and Surprise gave presentations on current and planned projects. Topics included infrastructure improvements, business growth and community development.

More than 150 people attended the event, including business leaders, city staff and residents.

City economic development teams outlined projects scheduled for 2025 and 2026, addressing commercial and residential expansion, job creation and efforts to attract new businesses.

Organizers said the event encourages communication among West Valley municipalities and offers the public a chance to learn more about the region’s ongoing changes.

The City-to-City Update is part of the chamber’s programming focused on economic and regional development in the West Valley.
