Spitz Mediterranean Restaurant has officially opened at GSQ in downtown Goodyear, located off McDowell Road and 150th Drive.
The restaurant offers a modern take on Mediterranean cuisine, featuring a diverse menu that includes wraps, gyros, salads, fries, and a dedicated vegan selection.
The name "Spitz" refers to the classic vertical method of cooking meat, which enhances flavor. In addition to its food offerings, Spitz provides a rotating selection of craft beers, wines, sangria, and cocktails.
The restaurant accommodates various dietary preferences, offering options for those following Paleo, Keto, vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free diets. It also features classic games for entertainment and is dog-friendly.
"I am thrilled to welcome Spitz to our growing GSQ community," said Goodyear Mayor, Joe Pizzillo. "Their food is a fantastic addition to the diverse culinary experience we are trying to build. This is another exciting step forward in making Goodyear a vibrant and attractive destination for residents and visitors alike."
This new location is part of the development around the Goodyear Civic Square, at 2015 N Globe Drive.
