PebbleCreek club hosts casino night fundraiser

The Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek will host its annual Casino Night fundraiser 6-9 p.m. Jan. 10, at the Tuscany Falls Ballroom in PebbleCreek.

The Rotary Club of Goodyear PebbleCreek's mission statement includes focusing on providing educational opportunities and support for local youth, as well as advancing community development projects. The fundraiser will provide the community with an opportunity to support the club in its process of seeing out that goal.

For a $75 entry fee, guests will receive $250 in play money for use at the casino games. Additional chips can be purchased during the event, with $25 worth of chips available for $10, and $100 in chips for $35.

Raffles will feature a $500 cash prize, as well as four roulette spins valued at $125 each. Attendees can use their funny money or chips to purchase raffle tickets, with the live auction beginning at 8:45 p.m. following the raffle drawings.

Proceeds from the event will support several of the club's local programs, including youth development projects, literacy initiatives, and scholarships. The club’s programs include the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, which provides books to children under the age of five, and Career-Technology Education initiatives, which feature community, little libraries stocked with books to promote literacy.
