Mrs. Claus reads with the Maricopa County Library District

The Maricopa County Library District will host two family-friendly performances featuring Mrs. Claus this December, offering holiday entertainment for residents of all ages.

The first performance will take place at the Litchfield Park Branch Library from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2.

The event will feature Mrs. Claus, portrayed by actress Jan Sandwich, who will lead storytelling, sing-alongs, and interactive activities.

The second performance is scheduled for 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Georgia T. Lord Library at the Goodyear Civic Square Park stage. This outdoor event will include storytelling, music, and holiday-themed activities.

Sandwich, an actress, singer, and children’s entertainer, has performed across Arizona for more than 25 years. Her work includes theater, radio, and television performances, and she is known for engaging audiences with a mix of humor and interactive storytelling.

The holiday performances are part of the Library District’s mission to provide educational and cultural experiences for local communities, encouraging curiosity and engagement among residents.
