Yates Buick GMC has announced the groundbreaking of a new Mitsubishi dealership in Goodyear. The dealership, led by Whitney Yates-Woods, is expected to create approximately 60 jobs and enhance automotive options for residents.
"This new Mitsubishi dealership represents a major leap forward for both our company and the community," said Yates-Woods. "We are not only meeting customer needs but also investing in Goodyear's future through job creation and economic growth."
Yates-Woods, who took over the family business after the passing of her father, Mike Yates, is focused on promoting inclusivity and leading the charge in the transition to electric vehicles. Yates-Woods said her vision includes expanding the Yates legacy and fostering innovation within the automotive industry.
The dealership will feature full-service facilities, including sales, service, and parts departments, designed to attract a steady stream of customers and support local commerce.
A groundbreaking ceremony is set for Thursday, November 14th at 10:00 AM at 13845 W. Test Drive, Goodyear, AZ 85338, with free coffee and pastries provided.
