Heritage center accepts new volunteers

The P.W. Litchfield Heritage Center will hold a volunteer orientation at at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 11,  13912 W Camelback Road in Litchfield Park.

The orientation will provide information about various volunteer opportunities at the Heritage Center, which focuses on the history, arts, and culture of the Southwest Valley.

Volunteers will learn about available roles in areas such as education, communications, events, and technology.  Opportunities include serving as a docent, assisting with school programs, conducting research, helping with social media, and supporting fundraising events. Training will be provided for all positions.
