Goodyear healthcare center to distribute free school supplies

Adelante Healthcare will host its 13th annual Super Back to School Bash on Saturday, July 26, offering free backpacks and school supplies to help local families prepare for the new academic year.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Adelante Healthcare Goodyear, located at 3471 W. Cornerstone Blvd. Supplies will be available to the first 400 students in kindergarten through 12th grade on a first-come, first-served basis. Children must be present to receive a backpack.

The celebration will also include community resource booths, snacks, games, and prizes for attendees. Organizers expect large crowds and recommend families bring water, sunscreen, and hats, as lines may form outside.

The Goodyear facility, which opened in 2023, is Adelante’s largest location in the West Valley. The 45,000-square-foot center provides a wide range of services including primary and specialty care, dental, behavioral health, women’s health, pediatrics, and same-day care. It also partners with the Women, Infants & Children program to support eligible families with nutrition and health education.
