Goodyear childcare facility hosts opening celebrations

Busy Bees childcare center will celebrate its Goodyear opening  with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, at 14058 W. Van Buren St.

The new location is the company’s first newly constructed facility in Arizona. The event will feature remarks from Mary Ann Curran, CEO of Busy Bees North America, and addresses by Goodyear Mayor Joe Pizzillo, Vice Mayor Laura Kaino and council members.

Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in family-friendly activities, including arts and crafts, face painting, and refreshments, as well as tour the new facility and meet with educators.

 Busy Bees operates 1,000 sites across nine countries and provides early education and child care services to children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old.
