The City of Goodyear has unveiled its schedule for adult pickleball tournaments in early 2025, set to take place at the Goodyear Recreation Campus at 420 S. Estrella Parkway.
The 2025 tournament series begins on Jan. 6 with the New Year's Paddle Bash tournament.
This event will follow a round-robin format, where individual players or teams compete against all other participants. The winner will be determined by the number of games won, with tiebreakers applied in case of a draw. Throughout the tournament, players will have different partners and opponents, ensuring a variety of matchups. The registration fee ranges from $10 to $12.
The next event is the Sweetheart Smash: Valentine's Day doubles tournament on Feb. 14. This doubles event invites players to compete in a tournament to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Registration for this event also costs between $10 and $12.
Both tournaments are open to players aged 18 and older. Waivers are required for participation, and players are encouraged to register early as spaces are limited.
