Estrella Mountain Regional Park hosts nature festival

The Tres Rios Nature Festival at Estrella Mountain Regional Park will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Feb. 22-23 each day.

The event will offer a range of activities focused on local wildlife, plants, and ecological sustainability. Activities include:

  • Guided Bird Tours: Explore the bird species in the region.
  • Eco-Crafts: Participate in crafting activities with a focus on sustainability.
  • Wildlife Education Learn about the plants and animals native to the Southwest.
  • Rock Climbing and Guided Hikes: Engage in rock climbing and hike through park trails.

The festival will be held at Estrella Mountain Regional Park, 14805 W. Vineyard Ave. in Goodyear, managed by the Maricopa County Parks and Recreation Department.

In the event of weather conditions such as lightning, wind over 20 mph, or flooding, the event may be altered or canceled. Updates will be shared through social media.
