Convenience store opens in Goodyear

Posted

7-Eleven has opened a new location in Goodyear, marking the company's first store opening in Arizona in 25 years.

The new store, located at 1025 N. Estrella Parkway, was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local residents and Desert Edge High School students and staff.

The Goodyear location is part of 7-Eleven’s ongoing expansion in Arizona, with three new stores opened in 2024 and two more planned for 2025.

Founded in 1927, 7-Eleven now operates more than 85,000 stores across 19 countries. The company is known for offering 24/7 service and iconic products such as Slurpees and Big Gulps. In addition to its convenience stores, 7-Eleven also operates brands including Speedway, Stripes, and Laredo Taco Company.

During the opening ceremony, Desert Edge High School received a $711 donation for its Project-A-Game program, which supports sports and community engagement initiatives.

The Goodyear store offers a range of snacks, beverages, and other convenience items.
