Sun State Builders has begun vertical construction on a new $9.95 million headquarters facility for JFN Mechanical at the southwest corner of Test Drive and 137th Avenue.
The 67,779-square-foot office and warehouse building will include a two-story luxury office space and a fully operational sheet metal fabrication warehouse. JFN Mechanical, a plumbing and mechanical contractor that specializes in multi-dwelling unit projects throughout the Southwest, hired Sun State Builders for the design-build project. Construction is expected to be completed by December 2025.
“Our goal is to create a space that reflects JFN Mechanical’s growth, innovation and commitment to quality while supporting the technical requirements of their fabrication operations,” said Andrea Piering, president of Sun State Builders. “This facility is not just functional it is a showcase of modern industrial design.”
The headquarters will feature premium finishes, including custom furniture, cast-in-place interior walls, and full-height glass partitions to enhance natural light in the office areas. JFN Mechanical will self-perform the plumbing work on the project.
“JFN Mechanical, as both the client and a subcontractor, brings a unique level of collaboration to this project,” said Sun State Builders CEO Mike Forst. “It’s especially rewarding to build a space that directly serves the people involved in its construction.”
