The Sundial Auditorium, 14801 N. 103rd Ave., is in the midst of a refurbishment. The room hosts many events throughout the year, including concerts and game shows along with clubs like the Country Line Dance Club and Dance for Fitness.
“It’s incredibly important,” Doreen Rafferty, head of activities for the Recreation Centers of Sun City, said about the room. “This is a vital location for fun in Sun City.”
Both the floor and stage are getting a new screen coating that, according to RCSC Repair and Maintenance Project Coordinator Vern White, will make the wood harder. He added the wood is about 37 years old.
