The Sun City Posse held its monthly meeting Jan. 6 at its headquarters, 10861 W. Sunland Drive. This meeting marked the first for Arlene Kluizenaar as commander.
“It’s a little exciting, it’s a little daunting,” she said about being commander. “Our focus is to make sure that things are safe in Sun City. Our focus is to make sure that people feel that they’re secure.”
Kluizenaar was previously the president of a volunteer ambulance service in New York, which she said was the same type of organization as the Posse. They served three different communities with EMTs, first aid and paramedics.
