The Sun City Pickleball Club, chartered in 2003, is dedicated to promoting health, fitness and social connection among players. With 1,132 members (as of March 2026) and growing, the club remains active year-round, for players of all skill levels.
Members have access to two venues with lighted courts: Marinette Recreation Center, featuring 20 courts (including eight covered), and Mountain View Recreation Center, home to seven courts and soon to build more.
The Sun City Sizzlers are proving age is just a number when it comes to staying active, socializing and having fun. They compete in the Arizona Pickleball Players League tournament circuit, where they won the western region as the only undefeated team in the 3.5 65+ division, showcasing their skills and sportsmanship.
