The greens of Sun City will once again take center stage this fall as Bowls USA brings the 2026 US Open of Lawn Bowls to the West Valley Nov. 1–7.
Now in its third consecutive year in the Sun Cities, the US Open will bring hundreds of lawn bowlers from across the United States and around the world to compete in one of the country’s premier lawn bowls events. Competition will take place at greens throughout Sun City, Sun City West and The Grand in Surprise, making the tournament a community wide sporting event.
But for the many local players who call these greens home, the US Open is about more than competition. It is an opportunity to welcome some of the best bowlers in the sport to the community where they play, practice and socialize throughout the year.
