Seven members from the Sun City National Society Daughters of the American Revolution Agua Fria Chapter participated in a NSDAR “Day of Service” by creating activity packets to be delivered to Benevilla. Facilities in Sun City and Surprise feature Life Enrichment Adult Day Programs entitled Mary’s Place and Lucy Anne’s Place.
Mary’s Place combines health care and life-enriching therapeutic creative aging programming to meet the unique needs of each individual. Lucy Anne’s Place is a day program in which attendees have community.
Benevilla collaborates with healthcare and community partners to ensure caregivers have access to meaningful respite and support. On Agua Fria Chapter DAR’s “Day of Service”, members created 56 activity packets, 28 going to Mary’s Place and Lucy Anne’s Place.
