Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. John Jensen provided an update on a string of car break-ins that took place over the weekend in Sun City, saying he linked all 15 reported incidents in MCSO’s record management system.
Jensen, who spoke during the Sun City Posse monthly meeting Sept. 1, said people were throwing rocks at cars Friday night. Most of the incidents happened between Union Hills Drive and Thunderbird Road, along with Del Webb Boulevard.
“Obviously they were trying to use major thoroughfares for getaway points and not going too far into the Sun City residences to do these acts,” Jensen said.
