Lakeview United Methodist Church, 10298 W. Thunderbird Blvd., is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive by collecting monetary and non-perishable food donations for the Valley View Food Bank and local households experiencing food insecurity during the holiday seasons.
The suggested monetary donation is $10 and will be given to the food bank to purchase turkeys and non-perishable food items. If donating by check, it should be made out to Lakeview United Methodist Church with a note that it is for Missions.
Donations can be brought to the church office 9 a.m.–3 p.m. Monday–Thursday and 8–9:30 a.m. Sunday mornings. Donations will be accepted through Sunday, Nov. 1.
