Benevilla to hold Benefitness Adaptive Gym Boxing Room celebration

Grand reopening set for Sept. 10

Benevilla will celebrate the "re-grand opening" of Benefitness Adaptive Gym’s expanded Rock Steady Boxing Room and new personal training suite 9–11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 10, at  16752 N. Greasewood St., in Surprise.  Admission is free and open to the public.

The Rock Steady Boxing room was made possible through a Ken Kendrick Grand Slam Award grant from the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation, allowing the nonprofit to better serve individuals living with Parkinson’s disease.

The event will also celebrate the opening of Benefitness’ Personal Training Suite, located in the former boxing room. The larger space will offer one-on-one adaptive fitness training tailored for ages 12 through adulthood, from athletes to beginners, and from those with physical limitations or neurological conditions to those who wish to achieve their fitness goals.
